71 Ford LTD. Couldn't pass it up this deal. I've been workin on Erzabet here and there, so I wanted something to drive whenever she's out of commission. My first car was a LTD II, and I haven't since owned a Ford. I tried to "attach" some pics, but it wouldn't work for whatever reason, so I'm just gonna put a couple on here.

We had a LTD when I was young, think it was a 70 or 71, had the hidden headlights. My dad swears it had a 429 and a 4sp. Only hot rod the Ol' man ever bought, was VWs up til then.

I always liked the look of those cars, the T-birds too for that matter. HUGE fucking 2 door cars. Looks to be in awesome shape too. Good find. A buddy of mine had a Cordoba that is the same way. Unfortunately, that car was also made at the time Chrysler started fucking around with all the electronic shit attached to the engine, and the egr system, so they were WAY underpowered for the size of the car, and when something went wrong it went seriously wrong.lol.

It was actually between a 67 Tbird and this one. The Tbird was a little outta shape.
The roof is perfect. On the interior, there is 1 small crack in the dash, and it's on a removable piece that shouldn't be hard to replace. Rips on the front seat. Backseat perfect, headliner perfect, door panels perfect, carpet perfect. I haven't even had to touch the gas pedal to start her up!

On a more serious note. I have a 1970 Galaxie (not Galaxy) 500. Sport back. It is my sons daily driver. Everything still works for the most part at least, AC still blows cold too. 351C with a FMX tranny. It was ordered special with that combination as most of them came with the 390 or 429s. These cars are built to drive forever. Nice ride.
