I wish I had kyped some of those ignition boxes from turbine aircraft while I had the chance. They just send out one or two high-energy sparks, about 3-4 times a second, loud enough to hear them while the engine is spooling up, so they must be packing some energy. They're DC-powered, so the frequency, cap, and everything is taken care of. Maybe I can find one on Ebay.
