Does anyone here do upholstery? Im looking to replace the round piping around all 5 doors of my 63 Superior. I was wonering what holds the headliner in place above the door sils. It feels like a metal strip with clips but i dont want to break it while finding out. the headliner is near perfect but the piping is all torn and needs replacing. any help or pics would be appreciated! thanks!

Pic is of the rt rear door. Upper left corner of door is shown. You can see the strips that the door piping is tacked to . It seems like a hard cork type material. The strips are held in place by philips type screws. DSCN1173_631.JPG

Thanks guys! Atti I would appreciate the help! Pyro, great pics, here's some of my car, I'm working on the same door as in your photo. there seems to be some sort of clip that goes over the tack strip and runs the length of the door sil.
