  • Selling my Cobra

Black on Black '97 Cobra - odometer hasn't worked in a while - most of it's miles that are on it are highway (I work pretty far from my house, but I always drove to work at night with no traffic until recently) - so not alot of stop and go traffic. I have had this car since '99 I think and have just lost interest in it. I'm posting it here first before I put it on ebay or craigslist. I don't have to sell it - I'll take $6000 for it.

Paint is passable, hood is chipping, front and rear bumpers could stand respray. Missing headlight cover (long story). Car has never been wrecked.

Car has a pretty good list of things done to it.
    Tremec TKO 500
    FRPP 31 spline carrier
    FRPP 4.30 gears
    Moser 31 spline axles
    Spec Stage II clutch
    Steeda Firewall Adjuster
    Steeda Clutch Quadrant
    FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft
    FRPP bellhousing
    80mm C&L MAF
    K&N
    March underdrive pulleys
BBK longtubes (for a '99+, so the EGR tubes were never hooked up)
    MAC offroad H-pipe
    MAC Flowpath Mufflers (sounds VICIOUS)
    Tokiko Shocks in front
    C/C plates
Brembo rotors and pads in front
    Eibach pro-kit springs
    Subrames
    Dugan lower control arms
(forgot the brand) upper control arms

Black 17" '03 Cobra Wheels (don't remember the brand) with 275/40's in the front and 315/40's on the back.

I'll post pics here in a few days (when it's not gray, rainy and miserable out).

Been thinking about it for a while - and Nikki selling hers made me realize just how easy it is to get what you want if you want it bad enough.

I've just lost interest in it over the past few years - it's too damned expensive to work on for it to be the way I want it (I wouldn't be happy till it was about 700 rwhp - and that gets pricey in a hurry).

I want to build an early 50's something.
