I actually got a little teared up on my drive to meet up with the guys. At times I will miss it because it was the most comfortable/reliable car I've ever owned, BUT I will not miss ghetto ass thugs bothering me!!! It is such a shame that the body style I owned went from an old white person car to..........well I had better not finish that! LOL

I've got my Firebird and I do love that car.

SOB SNIFF I wanted that car, and you used to love it, but I could never have bought it. I just dumped two cars, and still have four to move, along with the boat and the airplane.

I have mixed feelings for you. I know that it's great to sell a car that you've been trying to get rid of for a while, but you used to talk about that car like it was your baby. I haven't had any ghetto comments about my 76 New Yorker, but we don't really have ghettos around here, and there definitely aren't any where we want to move...just a cemetary.

I still love the car and it did hurt to sell it, but I couldn't take it places because anymore of thugs wanting it and I had them follow me into parking lots. I had black friends tell me to watch it in that car. Also, I just got a Boxer Puppy that goes to work with me so I replaced the caprice with a 98 S10 Blazer and a 98 Firebird! The black folks that bought the caprice seemed to be respectful none thug-ish folks so I think I made the right choice.

Well, just as I said that we didn't have ghetto types around here, someone blew out the back window of my hearse with a Niggertown Saturday Night Special. Don't blame me...Congress actually named it that. A legal action took out the "niggertown" later on.

Jenny said that someone was shooting at her friends as they came around the corner, missed and hit my hearse instead, but isn't it funny that one of her friends also stole my 9mm Ruger?

Glad to hear you finally got rid of the Caprice.
I still think it would have sold quicker with some 22" rims on it and the trunk rattling loose from thumping.
Ghetto? It's called Cracktown around here.

ME TOO!!! I got way more than the Kelly Blue Book value so I'm happy. Too bad you and Michele didn't go with us to the ghetto/cracktown part of Savannah that morning to get the blower for the caprice. I've never felt so uncomfortable....we were the only whites and we were in a caprice in a parking lot while David changed out that fan....I was doing lookout and kept on asking him "Are you almost done" and "just get the fan in we will worry about cleaning up when we get out of here" LOL
