  • 1961 Piper Cherokee

150 HP, just about halfway past SMOH, dual nav-coms, STOL tips, low-time airframe (about 3300), baggage door, KT76A transponder with mode C, audio panel with 3LMB, panel jack for your MP3 player, ipod or whatever, crank gear AD is C/W, and the mags have been done. There is a Loran, which is no longer supported, but I think you can get a GPS that goes right into the same tray, and it is slaved to one of the VOR/LOCs. Attitude gyro and IX filter replaced a few years ago, and we rarely ever fly it. Tires and tubes recently replaced. Annual possible with sale...it doesn't need anything. It has flown less than 5 hours since last annual.

I'll go $16,000 obo just because we need the money. This airplane booked at $28,000 three years ago. Send me a PM if interested.
