  • Parts for my 75 Hearse

I'm looking for a set of hood hinges and a set of tail lights for my 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood MM hearse.

Those are stock Fleetwood parts... Try the local wrecking yards...

The tail lights are only made for the hearse. I think these particular tail light lenses were made from 74 to 76. I'm looking for the lenses that are located in the bottom rear bumper. They have the reverse lights molded into them.

Okay, time to post pics. I don't seem to recall there being a dedicated CC part for this application...

The closest part I can think of would be from a Chevrolet El Camino, but I'm not positive they are the same part... I'll let you know what I dig up...

can you post a detailed pic of one of your hood hinges?
I have a couple sets from that era, but not sure exactly what years are interchangable

                    The answer

The tail lights on the 74-76 commercial chassis are modeled after early 70's Impala tail lights.
Pictured is a lens from a 72 Impala. If you carefully cut off the 3rd light which is curved, you have your Cadillac light. The 3 mounting screws line up perfectly, the only thing I had to do was shave a little of the top since my chrome bezels are warped.

Only hood hinges I know of that fit are 74-76 Fleetwood & Eldo hinges, this is from experience on multiple Caddy's.

Thank you very much for the info. I was just gonna make mold of the original (if they didnt break while taking them off) and sell them online or something. I'll have to look around some local salvage yards. There aren't too many here in NE Indiana anymore though.

I bought the lenses off ebay, at the time it cost me $40 for the set.

I just had some jackass on ebay tell me he would sell me a set of hood hinges for a 75 Cadillac for $650 a set!! I had to ask him if he added an extra 0 in that price. That's some highway robbery if you ask me

I had a 76 Superior. Those lights are from a 70's Chevy wagon.
