  • 1966 Superior

    Hello

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've had my 1966 Superior for a couple of years now and I would like to offer it here before I try something like ebay. It has 57,000 miles and its silver. I had it looked over and maintained by a reputable experienced hearse mechanic and put about 1000 miles on it since I've had it. It has no rust and is in what I would call excellent shape, but not show car quality. It was in service until 2006; I have the original 1966 10 temp tag from Ohio and few other pieces of original paperwork. I have about 8 grand in it; I'm willing to take a loss. I've got lots of high res pictures that I can send.

The coolest thing is the SiREEEEEEEEnnnnn

I’d love to buy it, but lately things have been too high. Maybe this will be the one.

        Price

I've got it on Craigslist for $7500. But I honestly don't expect to get that, and consider the price negotiable.

The car is in Madison WI. Send me a PM if you want more pictures, information, or would like to talk to me about it.

              Trade?

Though I would prefer to have the cash; I am in the market for another vehicle, though not a hearse. One of the reasons I need to get this one out of my garage is so I have room to put another car in it. I need a basic sedan, nothing special for the kid to drive. I'm pretty sure I can get the type of vehicle I need with the money I get from the hearse.

So I might be interested in a trade, what do ya got? Think nice safe car for a 17 yr old girl, blue would be a plus.

I suggest a mid 90s saab. Safe, reliable, good on gas, easy to fix, and really cheap since nobody wants them.

Good luck on the sale, very nice looking car.

                      SOLD!

I came to a nice agreement with someone through this board. Thanks all, and especially thanks to the people responsible for having the board open for me to post the car.

                        Class.

Anyone remember a couple of years back I had a kineption fit about some dude just posting up his 59 and never contributing to the forums? Some folks jumped on me about "It's a 59!" and crap like that. So what?!

This is what I was talking about.

See TOdd here, even though not a regular, was super courteous and was thoughtfull enough to say thanks for letting him sell his coach here. Pure class. The world needs more folks like this.
