"When the silence beckons, and the day draws to a close... when the light of your life sighs, and love dies in your eyes... only then will I realize... what you mean to me"
I *strongly* suggest that anyone interested in this do not contact Classic Cars International as the owner keeps bumping the price up with 'interest'. Talk to James (kitkong) or myself and get filled in.
This seller is a prick to the nth degree. 3 different firm prices to 3 different people covering a span of more than $10k. Even worse? He played the same game with someone who bought a different Cadillac ambulance from him years ago. Unreal how some stay in business.
Although I had a different experience with the man than Atti, I'd have to say that based on what I saw,.....this car,..at least in my opinion, would take QUIET alot to bring it back to life............I'm not fully convinced it rates even as a parts car.
There is rust/cancer a plenty on her.................what a shame.
I'm thinking the sale price would buy that guy a lot more CRACK, cause that's what he's on asking that much!
I am so sick of the ridiculously disproportionate pricing I've watched over the years.
Yes its a 59, we get it... but that doesn't make it fucking GOLD!
Drive shaft must be optional. Bob Waldock in Sandusky, Ohio has a boat load of 59 caddy's and 59 caddy hearse, ambulance, combo's. At one time, he had the largest collection in the United States. His shop is on either 1st or 5th street in downtown. You can see a few hearse's rotting away in the fenced in area. Been a few years since I looked around. Might make a run out there on Monday and see if I can snap some pics.
