(Soon to be on ebay! but I'm starting here, in case some one falls in love with it).
1948 Cadillac Miller Hearse, enloader/ may have been combo?
All doors roll shut beautifully!
Though solid and rust free through-out, this car was beyond restoration, so a local kustom builder made it a nicely drivable one.
The Goods:
Cadillac 500 (out of 69 Eldo) with recent timing chain and fuel pump.
Edlebrock carb,
Modern GM front clip =Power steering, Pwr brakes/ Disk brakes
Modern GM truck rear end, + updated drive shaft and carrier bearing
GM tilt colum. Newer gauges and wiring (of coarse).
New GM sending unit modified to gas tank.
Flame cut hood, reinforced and mounted (original had been crushed by tree)
This guy does some very strong metal work, so it is over engineered (not a back yard hack job!) I will take some under carriage pics too, to show how solid she is.
This hearse is a lot of fun to drive! I have had a lot of hearses, but people really freak out over this one.?... might be the Aoooggaaa horn though.
Recent bike purchase means must sell:
$4500
(Pics with drapes, I put in for Halloween, not actually hard mounted)
