  • '64 Miller Meteor limo style combination

Another coach for sale I had the pleasure of viewing recently. Location is NC and I am not the owner.

This MM looks better in person that photographs. For restoration, it runs (no brakes to drive) and is complete down to keys, title, other paperwork going back 30 or 40 years. All glass is good, floors are solid, interior above average/usable as is (yes, that is oxblood/baby blue!). Rockers are peppered with rot and need replaced - main area of concern. Surface rust around moldings looks worse than it is. After crawling underneath and poking around closely, I only found an additional rot hole on the underside of the passenger skirt. All five doors open/close solidly with no rot around bottoms.

Well worth the owner's price tag of $2500. I'll pass contact info along privately with the understanding that price will not move much, highly doubtful at all. He's the type to sit on stuff if asking price isn't met.

One 'bonus' item not documented is that Judy Garland(!) was transported in it after passing in London. I didn't think to ask if that meant from airport to funeral chapel or funeral chapel to mausoleum.

Wow. This is right around the year I want. And most important, its certainly in my price range. Do my eyes decieve me or is the rear door caved in?

It is - forgot to add that it was bumped by a skid loader before this guy acquired. Thanks for pointing that out.

He has a couple MM parts cars, so another door is possible.

New owner has taken possession. He's a funeral director in Indiana so it sounds like the MM has gone to a good home!

No. His '59 Eureka is garaged and not visible. Rear loading door windows are quite different between them.

Thats what i was thinking about the Window.. But i guess i just thought that MM had less of a curve on the roof line. Eureka have a rounded kinda window. From the few i've seen.. Right?
Either way, Still an awesome car.

'59 Eureka has taller glass with rounded top corners and squared bottoms. This is one year only glass.

MM is not as tall and more rectangular. Same glass used '59-'62.
