Some OH yokel on the PCS claims he bought it and was going to pick it up like 2 weeks ago. I got the build plate ID numbers and found out original funeral home through a procar historian last month. It is a '48 and not a '47.

Bargain given rarity for anyone looking for a service car.

Apparently not. Guy that claims to have bought it never followed through. With what was relayed, he may have annoyed the seller into not selling to him.

Any idea on the body maker? I'd think mm, due to some of the trim. But my guess is as good as any others.

As it says in title Jackson, Flxible. 1 of 25 service cars made in '48 and possibly the earliest known Flxible service car remaining prior to '63 (next Flxible service car known).
