'76 caddy carb problem

My '76 Miller Meteor wouldn't start today, so when I got to the point to pull the air cleaner and inspect, I found that when you pull the throttle liinkage everything on that side rotates properly but the stuff on the passenger side does not rotate. That includes the butterflies. I can't see anything loose or broken, so I'm assuming there must be some kind of spring that flew off? I have the fsm for this car, but the pics didn't show me anything. I'd bet one of you could answer this in a heartbeat. Thanks.

EDIT: I've done some more research and need to look at it again. I'm new to carbs and the quadrajet.
