I am getting ready to replace the front brakes on my 1969 Cadillac Hearse and it looks like the rotors are going to be very difficult, if not impossible to find.
I did find an article (http://www.modifiedcadillac.org/arti...ediscswap.html) on using 1972 rotors in place of the 1969 rotors with minor dust shield modification.
my concern is that the swap was done on a Sedan de Ville and i am not sure if this would directly translate to the commercial chassis.
doing some part number research it looks like the 1969 rotors cross reference to the 1972, but the 1972 does not cross reference back.
before i go out and buy the 1972 stuff, does anyone know if this is viable for the commercial chassis?
