I was looking on the http://www.cadillacforums.com/ threads and searching to see if there were links to buy repair manuals. So far, nothing there. I did find these 2 on amazon:

I tried looking at my local PeP boys, but they didn't have anything near the 80's range. I have found a free manual on the autozone site. I'm currently reading through it and printing out some of the routine maintenance sheets.

I bought a Chiltons manual for 1967-1989 cadillacs back in 1990 when I had my first coach. It has come in very handy over the years.

I believe it is out of print because I looked on thier website and the part number is different now.
the part number on the book is 7462

you can get the dealership shop manuals on ebay. there are absolute scads of them there.

they can be expensive, though

My cousin just bought a 1982 Cadillac (I'm assuming the Fleetwood chassis? I just started doing research on this...) Is this 'Chilton' manual the only one available for hearses? I use Haynes manuals for my 2 cars, so I don't really know anything else. If someone could give me a heads up on technical manuals I'd be really appreciative! Thanks.

I've been very happy with the Chilton's manual. Used it for a number of references already. I would recommend looking at Amazon.com and Ebay. The one I got from Amazon cost me 2.95 plus 3.99 for shipping.

I still have a factory shop manual for a 65 caddy, including the comm chassis, if anyonme needs it.
