first my upper radiator hose poked a hole in itself and sprayed all over an already frozen but still spinning ac compressor causing it freeze up like an eskimos nutsack, so i had to cut the belt resulting in no power steering.

thankfully i can bypass the ac with shorter belts.

I almost took 'frozen' as in frozen like ice. Then I thought, that cold in Daytona?

Alot of the time the water pump runs on the belt too. Makes it easy to over heat. But it depends on the car you have.

luckily mine runs the water pump and alternator on one belt and the a/c and power steering off a dual belt. i went and got shorter belts and now its fine. and a hidden bonus of a teeny bit of freed horsepower
