Anyone know if an outside mirror head can be tightened. It's the chrome one used on most RWD Cadillacs. Electric and heated. Not real loose yet, but annoying.

Do you mean the piece of mirrored glass or the whole mirror assembly?
If it's just the glass, look at the lever for adjusting it. There is a tiny allen screw on the underside. Try tightening that and see if it helps.
If it is the whole assembly, you'll have to take the door panel off to get to the 2 nuts holding down. -
Its the mirror head to the stem that is loose. Yep, see a pinhole in the bottom. Come fix it for me, you are right up the road. It's my B day weekend. woo hoo. Start 7, 12's next week. Makin' sum money for Monsterbash.

We start 3/8hr shifts 5 days a week next week, it sucks cause I am loosing 3hrs of OT and I'm down to a 2 day weekend.Comment

where is this at? mine looks as if someone has stuck paper towels behind it to stop it from rattling, but the wash times have loosned it up lately.Comment
