84 fleetwood s/s victoria wiper switch question

ok I have a question about the wiper switch button in the dash, I m looking for extra parts for my hearse. I am looking for another wiper switch and all that I am finding is the type that shows {delay} on the top.. the one that is in my car now doesn't have this on it. I was told that i can't use this style on my hearse with out changing the wiper motor and wires to be able to use this delay style of switch. can anyone tell me if this is true? the picture that I have posted is the only style that I can find any place , mine does not have the delay thank you for any input cean
