My '64 has a 429 in it and the manifold was the same as the block...dark blue. I powder coated the waterpump intake and the valve covers in a black and they really look sharp. Also did the 'Cadillac' on the covers in a silver so that they popped.

I snagged a nice one from the New Ringold PA junkyard. They had the 64 limo still, a 64 fleetwood, and a 63 sedan. I took the mani from the sedan because it was in the nicest shape and still greasy. So the goofy little hard line that comes out of it was still in perfect shape.
Pics to come, I have a pre arrangement in 20 minutes.

Now for carbs, Edlebrock 600 cfm or 750 cfm?
600 Listed for 61-64 Series 75:
750 CFM listed for 64 Series 75:
I wanna say 750 cfm, but will that be pointless since I don't have the extra 39cid that the 64 429 offers? The 63 also has manual choke, so I don't know what would be involved in electric choke.Last edited by Tweek's Turbos; 06-25-2009, 05:42 PM.
