Is the door glass taller than stock on an '88?

its a 88 so im sure it wouldnt be that hard

I did my own, and there was a fair amount of fab work to mine, but mine is a '65. There are actually a few different ways to do them.

1) You can cut up your existing regulators and fab OEM motors on them, so they are completely behind the door panel like factory. (this is how I did mine.)
2) You can buy an aftermarket kit and install it, but then there is a little black cap that covers where the crank is now.
3) If your car is new enough, you can just go to the wrecking yard, and just grab some factory power regulators and just swap them and wire them up.
