Sorry if this does not make 100% sense. I have been working on the hearse all day and my brain cells are few and far between.
Thank you again for all your help with the quadrajet.
I took the time and rebuilt it with a kit from the auto part store and had to track down a rear vacuum break for it.
I got it onto the engine, primed it and it took right off with no issues. The tank was dry so I put more fuel into it and primed the carb again but now it will not fire at all. I think that when I primed the carb it looked like it overfilled out of the top and when I tried to turn it over I may have fouled the plugs in the process. If I took them out and let them dry out some do you think that may resolve the issue I am having.
I am thinking it may be that because it took right off the first time and when i tried it again...nothing, not even a hiccup.
