  • '61 Pontiac Bonneville Superior windshield

Okay, I replaced all the broken glass in my hearse EXCEPT the front windshield. My glass guy says he can probably find a repop but needs to know A) if superior made any changes to the window frame and if not, then B) is the car based on the coupe, sedan, or wagon. I'm super lost, not only is this my first hearse, this is my first classic car. How do I discover this information?

Err, '60? I'm on vacation but can provide pics/details once home if nobody tackles this first.

Well, I erroneously referred to it as a 60 for the first few weeks, but the DMV set me straight

Nonononono. You had it correct and the DMV found a way to screw paperwork up. This IS a '60, unequivocally. Even if by some slim margin it was originally titled first in '61 does not make it the birth year of manufacture.

Models changed significantly each year. Again, I can post pics once home of '61 Superior Pontiacs if no one else does first. You'll laugh once seeing differences that they can even be "confused".
