On a recent trip a friend tore up all 5 wheel studs on a 63 cadi ambulance. Any help finding new ones would be great. Once its apart and i have a stud to measure will source that way unless someone has info on buying them sooner.

Hey Cupcake,
That 63 uses the same studs as mine. (Your friend and I were actually chatting about that this weekend at Chatfield.) Did you guys get home with it?
Let me look up the ARP part number for the stud that I am ordering to replace my broken one and I will let you know what it is. They will need to be trimmed down from the 3" length to the 2 5/8th needed but should work otherwise. You will not be able to find the exact same stud as the head size is different, but the rest will match up. Trust me, I have been searching for months.

Thank you. Car is not home yet. Was going to go the race car stud route when I got a sample out. I was told you were there, sadly did not get to meet you. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I will verify measurement on the stud tonight and let you know what ARP part # I am ordering (I think it is 100-7703).
If you had a picture of the rollers, I could compare. Seeing all of the different styles of assist rollers this weekend, I am not sure what the '70s look like or if the Superior would fit with my MM. I can't imagine there is that much difference.

The ambulance is home! after a week at the shop the guy did nothing... We pulled the car from him and took it a block away on 3 rear studs and pulled into an Autozone parking lot. I bought studs 2 hours earlier at Coconino Auto Supply in flagstaff, AZ. the studs are very similar but the thread is 9/16 instead of the standard 1/2. An hour and a half later and with the help of 2 Autozone customers and a sledge hammer, the drum was off, new studs in place and we were mobile! The part is Dorman 610-188
Hope this helps.

I have a few I'm sitting on. I've got a machinist friend looking into making fifty or so for me. Did any of the original studs survive? I'd like to match them up to the ones I have from the 76 M-M I found in the salvage yard.
