  • Looking for a good Hearse from the 50'

    Hello,

I am a undertaker from Denmark.

I am looking for a Hearse which I can use in the summer, like an extra event.

Only good condition and running condition.

    Hope you can help me

It depends on the car, of course.

Ok, a 59 just sold on ebay for $17,000. I think that it was worth it.

No one's going to help you because you're being too General.

Are you looking for one here in the states?

Anyone notice all the hearse wanteds?
"I'm looking for my first hearse. It must be running and driving, close to where I live. 1959's only please"

          Or.

I have a running and driving 75 coach for sell... I will sell it to you and you only for the small price of $2000 dollars, although it needs A LOT of resto work. I also am getting a 55 coach, that I would sell to you for $15000. Oh and you pay shipping.

Hey there is a 59 coach just listed on this site for $5000 and it does not run or drive and it will take probably $10000 to restore. But I guess it just depends on what your LOOKING for.

Or there are a lot of adds on this site alone for some very nice coaches at reasonable prices.

Like Spastic Chicken said, you are being entirely to general. If you want a give away or are looking for the perfect coach for you, you need to be a little more specific.

Btw, the prices I listed are in jest. But seriously, you need to be more specific. I am very new to this site and just got my first hearse this month. I went through hours upon hours finding a hearse in my area that I could afford and would work for what I wanted it to do. I knew what I was willing to spend and had a little bit of an idea of what I was looking for. Yes, I did just want a hearse. But I wanted one that ran, it did not matter what year as my budget was a little tight at the time and I could not be super picky.

So, with that said.. good luck finding what your looking for.

P.S. The 55 I am getting next weekend is not for sale.

What I am saying is... that I am not so picky on the model, just the decay.
Because I love the shapes and curves and the traditions.

I could also just have asked that I wanted the same Hearse as in "Harold and Maude" but that is so childish..

But okay I take it with me as a lesson.. thanks

sorry to stray away for bit.....but GOD DAMN I am glad I can still get a coach from the 60's or 70's with little rust for 500-1000 bucks every now and then! I remember when I used to get them for 500 bucks a pop EVERYWHERE. I have owned about 23 coaches in various conditions. The prices have sky rocketed in only like 6-7 years to almost 4-5 times what I used to get them for. Thanks all you bandwagoneers!

O.k. Sorry. Back to your regularly scheduled programing.....

Orskov, there are some pretty decend coaches listed on ebay all the time as well. You might want to keep checking back on this forum and ebay. Also, do they have something like a "craigslist.com" where you are located? Because thats where I see alot of coaches listed.
                    Good luck with your search.
