Perhaps a tad earlier but I will throw my hat in the ring: 1963 Pontiac Ambulance with raised roof. Currently on ebay at $800 tops out at $1500. Good 389, new tires, brakes work but needs resto. Two small rust holes thats it! I have an extra body for $300 that has doors, some glass, and a good front seat. Robert 206.250.7842

There is a real nice unrestored 1969 Cadillac Superior 51" hightop for sale in Maryland over on the PCS website... if you want a unmolested & original squad to restore, 5K is the asking price.
