  • Seriously, I need this

No, really - my pass side manifold is cracked and thin(brazing with nickle will not work). I have a 64 M&M Combo with a 429. For those of you that are going to say get a 63 390 manifold, they are different. The 64 429 pass side ex manifold has an integral alternator mount and was made only in 64.

Please someone help a brutha out. I am not rich, so if ya have one and want to retire on the funds from selling it, pass me by please...but if it's on the cheap, I'm your huckleberry.

I can't get in touch with my uncle untill after his church time on sunday, I'll ask him to see if my 64 limo still has the manifolds floating around somewhere. The top end of the motor was missing when I got it, but I seem to remember the manifolds either still being attached to the exaust or in the trunk. I'm fixing to just cut that car up. Pull off of it what I can use, maybe cut what is left of the door skins and rear quarters off to use as sheet metal when I decide to start turning that 58 flower car into whatever barely road worthy contraption I turn it into. Think if there are any other odds and ends you may need and make a list. Like I said, top end of the motor is non existant. No carb, heads, alt waterpump, intake, wait no, the intake is in the trunk, everything else is gone, cylinders have 1/2 full of rust, no floor pans, I think hood is o.k, but may have some small holes in it. Hinges were good too if I remember correctly. Front fenders and front bumper ends have already been called for by someone else.

I just needto start cleaning upsomeofmy messes. I don't have any money IN the car, so I don't need much if any OUT of it.

But you pay the shipping damnitt.

Oh....and if they are still attached and the nuts are rusted on you will have to drill and replace the studs, cause i'll just cut em off to get the thing out.

Good news, he has them. His words were " Yeah they are both here, i don't recall there being anything at all wrong with them, the surfaces didn't even look pited, now what it's going to take for me to get to them is another matter".

Basically he took all the loose parts out of the car shortly after I left it there, before the zudzu attacked the car, and boxed them up. He is retired and goes to flea markets and junk swap meets all the time, he is making a huge load 2nd weekend of july, and says he will have loaded enough of his shit up on the trailers to get to the boxes. This timeframe acceptible for you?

Anyone else watching this thread, I'm just going to get all the boxes and bring them home, I'lllist all the shit in them and you're free to whatever you need if you can use it. I'm cutting this shit loose. Car itself is in too bad of shape, he says it's twice as bad as last time I saw it, so....I'm going to try to get someone up there to snap some pics as soon as I can, I dunno if any of the glass is good, the windshield WAS but like i said, I haven't seen it in awhile. Imma gut it and let him have the rest hauled off for it's weight in scrap, let him earn a couple bucks maybe it will help continue for him to allow me to park my dumb ideas over there when I get them......lol

This time frame is excellent for me. Remember, I only need the passenger side manifold.

            Thanks again!
