"Superior" is the actual coachmaker of the car...the one who does the actual conversion froma regualr cadillac9or other production car) to a hearse, ambulance, combo, or limo. Some examples of coachbuilders are Miller-Meteor(my favorite), Superior, S&S(Sayers and Scoville), Eureka, Cotner-Bevington, along with many others.

Miller Meteor is olnly a name in fact, the two fatories has been bought by Collins Industries, CEE and Superior...
A resurrection of Miller-Meteor came in 1984 when Collins Industries began using the name on its production vehicles of funeral coaches and limousines. In 1993, a competitor, CCE, Inc., saw an opportunity to purchase the Miller-Meteor name and combine manufacturing and support activities under one roof in its Norwalk, Ohio, facility. CCE, Inc. would oversee this organization until 1999.
In 1999, Superior Holdings, Inc. (a PNC Company) was seeking growth and efficiencies in their facility in Lima, Ohio. In July of 1999, the acquisition of certain assets of CCE, Inc. took place and manufacturing and support activities were, again, combined in to a common facility.

Great pics man!
Apparently you guys in Europe don't get the 'standard' feature that all US hearses get - they come with a lifetime supply of rust!
Just the other day I was admiring just how lucky I am to have such a not-so-shining example of what real rust looks like - if you need some, we can send some your way.
