Help ! Sending parts to France.

Hello everyone,

As you know, i'm in France and I've got many Us hearses.
I need to restore one of them and I need to buy parts on US websites, but the shipping costs are always too expensive even when it's a small part such as a spark plug or a valve cover gasket !

So I'm asking if someone could help us ( me and a friend ). We want to buy the parts we need and first ship them to someone in the USA ( because the shipping costs are very low ) and, in a second time, this personn will send us the whole parts ( in 1 package ) to France with USPS ( with the cheapest way ).

Of course we pay everything, ( the parts and all the shipping costs of course !! ) included if you need a box to put all the parts together ! We can estimate the total shipping costs with the website of the USPS ( for exemple, it's around 85 $ in Priority Mail® International with a maximun of 20 pounds ).

We do not need to buy heavy parts ! But we have lot of common parts that are used and need to be replaced : spark plugs, oil filter, wires, break pads, break springs, rear breaks, transmission filters, brake hoses...
I think that the whole package will weigh more than 15/20 lbs !

So what's the goal ? For us, the goal is to buy parts for our cars and not to pay shipping costs ; high shipping = less parts for the cars !
And some websites are asking us 100$ to ship on part !
i did this 2/3 years ago with a friend who was in the USA at this time and I paid the shipping 53$ for my parts at this time!

You used a verb that is never use in french ! " faillant " ( it means "not succed to do something " ) So this first sentence is very poetic !

" espèce de merde" is very very rude.

You're absolutely correct. I do make mistakes, and some of the words and phrases are twisted a little and don't translate well, because this is part of a song, it has to rhyme, etc. Compare it to American rap and it looks pretty good.

I had a nervous breakdown once, when my brain just couldn't handle all of the shit that was going on, and it shut down. It's the scariest thing I've ever experienced, a thousand times worse than a bad acid trip, being able to do nothing but dial 911 and scream, so now after I've been without sleep for a few days, I spend my nights forcing myself to think, and translating to French is still hard work for me. Besides, I can sing it at karaoke. Nobody here speaks French, just Mexican.

Do you use Yahoo or AIM? I try to avoid using anything Microsoft, aside from this machine that is hissing under my fingers, which came loaded with it.

I'll still have to check this with my husband, and I'm sure that he will want to know where the initial funding to buy the parts will come from. We may not even have it.

Tampon is masculine ( " we said " un tampon" en français ) because this word has a lot of meanings ! This isn't only the thing that women are using.

Alors in french, the adjectives goes after the nouns . They bring more informations on this noun. ( this is the opposite of english )

He wants to know about technical informations ( size, lenght betewen wheels, axes.... ) If you can scan some pages it's perfect !
