I lived in Downey, which is next to Compton, Norwalk and Lakewood(all "black" cities). I lived in East Oakland, Hunter's Point, Richmond, the Fillmore and the Tenderloin districts of San Francisco. i'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but i think it needs to be said.

Whether or not it's true, the answer is obvious. None of the things listed in that rant are "allowed" because whites are seen as the dominant, privileged race that likes to exploit others. So things like "white history month," or a "national association for the advancement of white people," would be seen as glorifying and promoting centuries of exploitation and oppression.

Think of it this way. If Germans go around talking about how they are proud to be German, and proud of their heritage, pretty soon people start accusing them of being national socialists. Being proud of German heritage doesn't make anyone a Nazi anymore than pride in your white race makes you a slave owner or a racist.

However, we must remember that Germany under the Nazis *did* kill lots of Jews and other groups, just like whites *did* traffic in slaves and purposefully oppress blacks in the post-civil war south. The fact that some people want to whine about not being allowed to have White History Month seems a little bit silly when other groups have suffered real oppression.

i'm not saying i think it's right, nor am i saying one should be ashamed to be German or white. I'm seeing valid points on both sides of this topic. I'm not a racist by no means. But I am proud of being white even though there are millions of white people that make me sick with their views and work ethics. I've never had a black person or any race for that matter ever do me harm. The fights I've been in, my cars getting broken into were all done by white people. I've walked through the" ghettos "of East St. Louis, Baltimore,D.C., New Orleans, and Richmond, hell I lived in the "ghetto" of NorthEast Side Okc and never once have I ever had a problem with anyone of any race I've met in these places. We had some nice black people living next door. Eddie, who owned a construction business, who was always trying to get me to go to work with him, and who laughed and asked if we were going into the funeral business when we bought our hearse, was a friend of ours, but his son grew to be a teenager, and when the self-segregationists began courting his son, he was smart enough to sell his house and move out. I have nothing against blacks who have nothing against me.

I have everything against racist blacks who feel we owe them something and play the "race card" every chance they get.

I hate the under-educated inner-city rabble that only know how to shoot and use force to get what they want, do a ton of drugs, and can't stop screwing. However that part relates to a lot of the people living in the urban areas, not just black people.

I have served in the Marine Corps with some of the finest Americans ever. Some just happened to be black. I have neighbors that are black.
