I would say that our lives are already ruined. We're STILL paying child support for a 19-year-old who graduated high school a month ago. They can't stop taking it of his check without a court order, which we can't get, and it looks like they've garnished our $10,000 or so in tax refund, which was all we had to live on.
Yesterday the ambulance took me to the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack, but it was pancreatitis or something like that, and pneumonia. It's going to cost me twice what Tony made last week. I sat here waiting to die, but I finally couldn't endure the pain and had to call an ambulance.
I told Tony that we couldn't make it on a truck driver's salary, but, as usual, nobody ever listens to me.
We're just almost out in the street now. We can last another month or two and that's it. I guess we go to a homeless shelter.
