I have to agree with Stodd, about spelling mistakes, and grammar mistakes, and if Stodd and I agree on anything, it must be true. Making fun of them is just about as tacky as making a personal attack; however, sometimes you have to ask for clarification when the grammar is so bad that it doesn't make sense.

BTW esteem is spelled with an E. Firefox has a built in spell-check, you should check it out. You'd be surprised at the increased credibility your posts get with proper spelling. They don't have a proper grammar check yet though so you're on your own there for the moment.

When I'm belting a post out in a hurry, the last thing I do is spell check - as a matter of fact, I never spell check. You're trying too hard if you are concerned what strangers think. I mean, if you were really interested in my grammar and spelling, you should have attacked my structure before even mentioning one mis-spelled word...

In a way it is, it's very hard to punch someone in the face over standard TCP/IP at the moment, this however makes a more even playing field in a "great equalizer" kind of way in that everything is a battle of wits. Just as some people are stronger than others some are smarter which makes for great sport. Who can sling the best insults and get people hotter has always been a favorite pastime of humans, and having opinionated people is a catalyst that will usually mean a conversation will devolve into mud slinging pretty quickly.
