What i'd do, Would be drive there with someone, then attempt to drive it back, Worst case scenario it over heats. However, Do this late at night and the temperature is significantly lower, less chance of over heating. If it does over heat, slack tow it. You'll be doing this late at night so the chances of actually being seen slack towing are lower than if you did it at day time.
