I can think of one modification that wouldn't look out of place...lowering the landau bars to line up with the window trim.

In theory yes, but how often do you see this set up? This is the first coach I've ever seen that looks like this, not to mention it's in too good of a condition (at least from the pictures) to warrant a complete make over. Although I'm sure people will chide me for turning my Miller into an Ecto, I guess I can't really say too much.
