A couple of lines above where it says clear title, it says "Mileage: 0 miles"

I recommend using Brown's Auto transport. They did a great job transporting a hearse for me from Chicago to New York City and the total was only $700.

So just checked out ebay, and yes he's got it back up again. Then read this at the bottom of his listing...

"Note: I just had to relist these ambulances because i ended the auction early for a good deal but the buyer had to back out. E-mail me with any questions."

Wow...the friggin balls on this guy.

What a pain in the butt.
I have to wat untill the 10th till Paypal releases my funds from this botched sale back into my account.
I called them and told them to look and see that he relisted the frikin cas and thay still sed I have to wate untill the 10th

I was told that they have to give the seller a chance to respond to the claim. OMG! THE cars are relisted...thats one hell of a responce on his part!

I know what it is.The longer Paypal has the money it builds interest for them.

Well regardless...4 more days to go -_-. And I shouldn't complain, even with Paypal faults thay still enabled me to get my money back.

I got burned on Ebay, it was only a $10.00 tail light, but They said there was no way to recover the $$$. May be its time to hit the seller of the 2 59s with all kinds of questions that will be posted on the ebay site. Hate to see this.

The seller can chose which questions he wants displayed in his auction.

Unfortunately the tanks seem to be coach specific, not just builder specific. Yours will have a flat top on it others have a raised section. I had to cut 2 tanks and use the good bottom to replace mine which was full of holes. Mine is the same as yours except it is a 71 with landau panels to cover the rear side windows. You can take ot out and get dimentions, go to the junkyard and find one close and use it. Many have done that. Heard a ford van may be close.

So what would be the problem with just putting a close replacement tank from JC Whitney or someplace and modifying the straps, etc. to make it secure? I would assume the sending unit to the gauge might not fit, but if you just keep track of your mileage, you should be good.

That's what I did on my '65. It was rusted all the way through, so I just found another cadi tank that was close at the wrecking yard, and made new straps. I did have to have a new filler neck bent up at my local muffler shop for $12, since the inlet was in a different place. I just hooked up the sending unit in the new tak and it reads just fine. Unfortunately, I don't remember what year or model I got it from, sorry.
