To join one has but to ask, live within the appropriate distance (Detroit and 50 miles outside within Michigan), and actually own a hearse. The area limit is to try to make sure that people in the club are actually close enough to attend events regularly. Also yes the aim is to actually get together in real life and make friends with a similar interest in hearses.
As far as parking it in the garage goes, all you can do is try. I've seen it done with no more than a few inches in front and back. Finding a car cover that will actually fit it can be a pain too.

Looks like you got a great deal. The interior looks great and you have a pull out table . Does the rear windows roll down? I see there are a couple switches on the inside of the rear door. Most hearse after the 80's didn't have inside handles in the rear.

How does it drive/ride? Have you named it?

it drives pretty flawlessly now that the brake lines are new
My mechanic said it was a great deal for the condition of the vehicle, though he would not have gone for a hearse himself.
Even he thought it drove beautifully.
It's name is Iorek Byrnison
