Ok I was always against doin this, but Ive come to the conclusion that its the biggest car I have and is basically a 2 seater... I have a 84 cadillac Eureka, the table and rollers and casket were all in place the way it should be, but I was able to pull the table out in one PC for future use, now wanna put a back seat in to be able to haul more people/family for that matter..... I hate losing the casket to do this, so would it be dumb to cut it in half to still be able to be seen if following behind and plus to hide my hydrauilcs in it, So this way I can have a seat, room for sub woofer box, half a casket with hydros in it etc. I was gonna do the whole fold down wagon/van seat but with the casket havin the hydros in its not easliy removable, sorry for rambling on Im a lil drunk, but just lookin for some clean ideas people have done to put a back seat in, Thanks

Hearse Con, be there or accept your role as a bitter failure at life.

Rob Spallone in our club used to have a casket end for this purpose. The casket end was used for display models in funeral homes, so if you call around some you might be able to find one...as illustrated here -

Fats bought a hearse almost exactly like mine except a year newer. I was with him when he bought it and the old owner cut out the floor and put in bench seating that folded down so it could still accomodate a full size casket. Fats then had the idea of lowering that seat even more and building the rest of the table on it with rollers and such (although he has yet to get that involved with it due to the freezing weather. I sat in it and it was really comfortable.
I have a similar idea but I want to make benches that function like those jump seats in the combination ambulances.

That is incredibly awesome! If anyone else tracks down one (preferrably black) that they don't want, pop me a message. That would be beautiful for the back of my Bella!
