So I have been looking into getting purple domes for the MX7000 lightbar that will be going on my Suburban Hearse:

I know where to get them, just gonna take a beating on the shipping.

Have any of you considered doing something similar? Not just a lightbar, but lights in general? If anyone is interested, I have resources...

Zach offers a couple different light solutions on his website. www.hearseclub.com

The purple strobes I can get in surplus, but the purple domes for this lightbar are available from exactly ONE source. Just offering up before I buy mine...

It depends on what model and used or new condition.
My LP6000 which is very close to the one on the ecto-1 goes for around 375 to 400 new. 35 dollar standerd shipping . Most light bars used including mine go for around 150 to 175 used. that is for old fashion rotators

strobes full size will run ya 1000 and up new and around 500 used

Are there purple mini lightbars out there? My '94 Eureka had a lightbar, and I'd love to get a purple mini or LED lightbar for it.

I ordered some of the XL strobes from Zach. They should compliment my LED headlight strobes nicely. Then I can get wigwags. FYI, I don't know if you have ever considered LED headlight strobes over Xenon strobes, but they are awesome!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

FYI, if you buy two sets from Zach, don't wire them in series.

So far nothing on purple. Rotator filters and lenses in clear, amber, red, blue and green are available, and I have the part numbers for all the replacement parts.

Start by looking around you in GA.

Find for sale for sale in Atlanta, GA. Craigslist helps you find the goods and services you need in your community

There is one on there better than mine for $200, and would need my source for purple lenses...

There are actually a few out there, from regular incandecent to halogen to LED, beacons to minibars to full lightbars. What do you have in mind?

I was hoping to find a mini lightbar in LED.

I really want a purple lens for my dome light. I'm still thinking about doing some type of resin mold but am just too lazy.

It looks like your lens is clear? If it is you should be able to candy purple paint it and clear it. Just a thought.
