Hearse Limo Service?

Dolores recently became 100% road ready! Upon completion of this, a group of kids asked to use it as a limo to their grad dance...hmmm might be on to something here.... so i got a kewl driver costume and said hell yeah! Now i need a wedding...think of it... what better way to leave your wedding than in a classic hearse that says "from death do us part" on the back window?

I've done lots of limo runs with my hearse. I've delivered grooms right to the wedding isle before, lol.





The biggest thing you have to think about, is if you have enough insurance to cover everyone inside the vehicle in case of an accident. (*Make sure your butt is covered*)

I used to rent mine out, however I like it too much to let anyone else fool with it.

I've seen a few sites too and I'm updating the links section on my site... about to add a section just for hearse limo services. Do me a favor and put your website and where you're based out of and I'll add it to the list.

One thing to consider is insurance. Commercial insurance is a must, to protect you in case a client decided to sue you. Regular car insurance wont cover you for renting out your car. If you do it for free, then you are covered, as they are just passengers.

My only advice, I've done quite a few - Get half before the event and half at the beginning of the night. Collecting all at the end, especially from drunk asses is impossible! Also set up rules of conduct (being late by 2 hours costs more, acting like a dick in the back can be cause for ejection without refund, etc) because trust me, while most of these things go off without a hitch, you WILL get the asses who will make you regret not setting up some ground rules!

Many clients may be young and disrespectful (ie damage the inside)
Some may be drunk
You need a commercial license
Commercial insurance.
No matter how well you build your coach, if you get in an accident and your passengers get hurt, its your fault because the car was not meant to have (live) people in the back. Any decent lawyer will crush you.

The only legal way around it is to only accept "donations" to be in your car. You are not a limo service, you are not a professional limo driver. Spend $200-$300 for a great attorney to draw up a waiver/disclaimer for your joy riders.
