I found one after going to about 7 Walmarts and 3 Targets.

I've had no luck finding even one of any of those cars. They ought to make more of them to start with, it's not like they wouldn't sell. I'm not paying one of these modern day ticket scalpers $20 either for their "work" they did raiding the stores. Those are the type I'd charge for a jumpstart on a freezing cold night.

I am going to agree with HearseHaunter. I usually try to work something like that into the negotiations if I can because it's nice to get something for the club whenever you can! But remember, this happened without me knowing about it, I was surprised as hell though my own negligence that there was a JL car with our logo on it!

Anyways, when it comes to stuff like this the trade off, more than anything else, is free advertising. Sometimes you can talk the person into some free or direct product but more often than not you're just grateful for the phenomenal coverage that you get so I don't want to complain about it! We've got something very few other clubs have gotten, so that's a real feather in the cap!

IMO the 57 is nice, but a 59 would be better because they are gorgous cars and there's really not many 59 hearse toys out there. But I think a early 70's to a mid 80's style would have been great. Because 1) there are none of those out there in diecast and 2) that's what most of us have. Very fewe of us here in Ga have anything older than 69. I would give my first born for a diecast version of my 82 superiour.

    Well said HearseHaunter!

Also I'd like to see it used on more hearses than just the 1957 Chevy. Hell IMO the first one released should have been a 1959 Caddy

There are none in georgia. The walmarts around here normally only have less than 10 johhny lightnings in the entire store.
You know what we should have done, chris and zach should have told them that they could use our logo under one condiction. Both clubs get a full case of them at retail price of course. So each member of both clubs could at least have one without having to pay some ass hat on ebay $20 for a $3.50 toy.
    Just my thoughts on it

Finally got my black Hearse (JL2.0). As mentioned before, as an HO scale slot car buff, it was only a matter of time (1 hr. to be exact) before one of these beauties was running down my track.

Even with the heavy cast body, she runs pretty well.

Hell I've thought that for a long time. Also update the damn page on your site because it still seems a bit outdated :P http://www.hearseclub.com/NHAA/main.htm

Tom, an interesting tidbit you may like to hear~

Yesterday @ 1 of 3 Austin area TRU (location with highest turnover ratio, 12901 Highway 35 N) the store manager happened to check stock for me. In regards to 2.0 series, they have been on order 24 straight weeks as their warehouse is out of stock! In that amount of time, 1 box unexpectedly showed up without being updated in their system. Luckily, it was JL4 but still...

Fixing lost revenue stream could use your direction apparently.
