I consider the men and women in our military to be hero's, the sign up for service knowing it could take them into harms way and sometimes risk all to keep us safe. I really do wish our government did more for them, especially the ones who are injured in combat or the family's of the ones who are killed in combat.

I am a vet. I run a USMC license plate on my truck, I have a USMC sticker in the back window and my tool box at work has jarhead stuff all over it. Can you believe not one single asshole at work said thing one to me or about Vets Day today. Don't get me wrong, I really don't expect a pat on the back. I just wish people were a little more conscious of those that have sacrificed for all of us.
