Hi all,
I posted a pre-registration sign up event for camping at hard labor creek. Right now we are looking at May 19th, the weekend before memorial day. That way we won't interrupt your holiday plans. we can also hit the car show in social circle if need be.
We need a minimum of 10 committed attendees to book the camp site. Please only RSVP "yes" if you are sure you can camp out.
this event is free for dues-paying members, and $10 otherwise.

I would be interested in Saturday night, but there isn't a snowballs chance in hell of Denise camping out.

so we've kicked around the idea of camping a few times. here's the information for camping at hard labor creek:
HARD LABOR PIONEER CAMPSITES
($50 per night) This is a primitive, rugged site for groups only, with a 10 person minimum. Site #1 is located by itself in the woods, and sites #2, #3, and #4 are located next to each other on the lake. Sites include picnic shelter with table, grill, fire ring, and outhouse but no water or electricity.
we could do two nights friday and saturday, or just one night starting on saturday. I think i would prefer two nights. the $50/night is per group, and we can pay that using club funds. so this would be a free trip for dues paying members. non-dues paying members should bring a donation in the form of cash or food/drink supplies.
we could do this as our may event, in addition to, or instead of the memorial day show in social circle. does this interest anyone?

Mark your calendars:
- Saturday, April 21, 2012 - 10 AM
Freshway Market

We will meet up at the freshway in social circle, and head out to Bonner Park in Milledgeville, GA for a picnic/recreation and then head over to Memory Hill cemetery to walk around and take pictures.
Travel time is about an hour, so we'll leave freshway no later than 10:30 am.

Hi all, we are working on an event for April. Right now i'm leaning towards a trip to a certain park in Millidgeville organized by Phillip Hall, or perhaps staying close to home and going to Hard Labor Creek or Fort Yargo. Stay tuned for details.

So, the next event on our calendar is the car show at
Walnut Grove High School
4863 Guthrie Cemetery Road, Loganville, GA
Saturday, March 31st 10:00 am - 2:00 PM
I would also like suggestions for a non-car show event in April. Someone has suggested 6-flags. A cemetery (or other location) type of picnic, or even just meeting up at Sonic's would be good. Kevin has also suggested a car show event for April.
