2014 NHAA South Eastern Regional Meet Planning Thread

Hi all, more updates on Asheville 2014:

All attendees are *strongly* encouraged to bring the following:
Walkie Talkie/Two-way Radios tuned to channel 14
EZ up or other pop-up tents
folding chairs
folding tables

DJ Mighty Mike of Cemetery Knights will be providing tunes for your listening pleasure throughout the weekend.

There will be a joint dinner for NHAA and PCS Saturday night, 7:00 pm at one of the host hotels TBA.

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue will be onsite throughout the weekend accepting donations and selling cool items: https://www.bwar.org/

Swap meet will be active Friday evening at the NHAA host hotel, in addition to during the car show. Buying, selling, trading is encouraged 24/7 during the meet.

Kevin and I have been busy lately packing so we can move into our new home, but once we get settled in, we should be able to find some things to donate for the raffle.

ALSO - we will be holding a raffle to help cover our expenses for this event and help pay for 2015, so if you have items you would like to donate, please let me know. Donations could be anything from hot wheels cars, to books, funerary items, caskets, hearses, etc. We already have a very generous individual donating a 19th-century portable cooling table.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Pre-registration at the $25 rate runs through April 15th. After April 15th, registration will only be accepted on-site at $30 each, payable in cash. Also, our special discounted hotel rate lasts through April 15th as well. Afterwards, any unbooked rooms will revert to the standard rate of $150+/night. Those rules apply only to the joint car show portion of the event. Pretty much anything goes at the hotel so long the management doesn't have a problem with it.

Lorcin, as some one had posted somewhere else, you can still come to the event and not participate in the show part. Come hang out with us, would love to see what you did to your car. I work at netherworld in Atlanta ands would love to meet more haunters

Was thinking of hitting this event, but saw the rules about caskets etc.. We might be a bit Xtreme for it, especially since I'm planning to to some crazy stuff with my house of shock buddies involving robotics in the rear. Already got banned once don't need to get banned from a whole state.
