Cranks come off easily once clips had been removed then?

Slide right off.
The vent window gear mechanism is sticking really bad. I may take it off and soak it in trans fluid for a few weeks. Also the window won't roll up or down so I have some serious lubing to do and possibly repair work to do. I think all 4 doors are in the same boat as well.
