Added Neon, Air Horns and a nifty pneumatic casket to the hearse this weekend.

First the neon. I swapped the old sealed beam headlights for new halogen units and added red Streetglow headlight leds to them.



I put an extra set of head light leds into the skull license plate.



I installed two sets of Streetglow gold series underneath. Here are some shots at dusk and then in the dark..

I installed a 12 volt air compressor and power inverter behind the seat. We use the hearse for promo events for the haunt and it seems we are always needing power. I ran an outlet for 120v and air to the rear.



The reason I installed the compressor was for a set of air horns. Why should a big hearse have such wimpy little horns?

Where did you get the halogen headlight setup? What did it cost? Are you happy with them? Been thinking about doing the same thing to my 61's...

I'd done the halogen conversion on my '40 Chevy sedan a few years ago... looked great but couldn't see 5 feet in front of you after dark, had to go back to the old seal beams. Hopefully they've perfected them nowdays to focus the light on the street!

I got them on ebay from seller rimiinc. Came quick, good price and I am quite pleased with them.

My friend's 87 S&S hearse has a loud horn. You just don't expect a downsized hearse horn to be so loud.

Very cool, one of the guys in my car club has air ride on his chopped 63 cad, and he has a semi air horn that he can run from the key fob remote. And he has given some people a heart attack by blowing it and he can be now where near the car and they always keep looking to try to figure out who is doing it.
