I had to rebuild the windshield header it was rotten out, and i cut the jambs to get gaps right, and moved a piece of the body line to get that right. So now it was on to the back window. I dropped it down 1 1/2 inches and widened it out 8 inches, chopped it 1 inch. So now it is in line pretty good with the windshield, you should be able to see out of it even though it is only 6 inches tall. Now this weekend i hope to get the roof dropped 4 inches that will leave for a 6 inch tall windshield.

Shown is the pic of the wife doing the first cut thru the post"it like cutting the embilical cord" I have the post inners all welded doors cut, i just need to make the filler piece. And the roof center is stretched and also needs the filler strip. and as you can see i need to cut and tweak the front post to have it all flow well. We hope to have it all rapped up by the time this weekend is done. The frame should be started mid this next week.

Dodge roof chop-dashboard build 028.jpgDodge roof chop-dashboard build 027.jpgDodge roof chop-dashboard build 045.jpgDodge roof chop-dashboard build 025.jpgDodge roof chop-dashboard build 022.jpgDodge roof chop-dashboard build 023.jpg It was kinda of a pain in the but because i had to redo some of the cuts a couple of time to shrink it up some more. I had the size set right but forgot that the body takes a taper in as you get closer to the floor. I took out 4 3/4 out betweeb the clock and the glove box, A combo of two cuts on each side of the glovebox latch that was another 4 3/4 and another bunch from each side of the dash, and removed the original taper on each ends that fit the poncho. Also enclosed a pic of it now on the floor on the steel plate getting it ready to build the frame.
