Is it just me that's really unlucky or is a pro-car windshield just a rock magnet!? Also on that note has anybody thought about putting a lexan windshield on top of the regular one and sealing them together so the regular windshield keeps the lexan sturdy and the lexan provides the windshield a layer of protection?

You could laminate the thing with 3M security film. (it comes in many thicknesses, from thick for preventing rock ships on your headlights, to thin to keep people from being able to crawl through a broken window.). The drawback is you can't run wipers on it or it will scratch.

LOL every time a windsheild post comes up i think of this guy i pass every day on the highway. I will have to get a pic of him. He broke the windsheild and replaced with plexiglass which broke. So he cut a hole in front of steering wheel roughly 15"x15" and wears aviator goggles. This is in a 78 olds cutlass (lol) with 20s, lime green and orange paint. Tunes a cranked and heater on high, what more could you want.
Oh i forgot around the square opening he has duct tape to keep it from cracking anymore. What a tard
