Seriously, I was wondering the same thing. This is gold!

Apparently this dude doesn't understand the concept of supporting a community means being part of it more than spending a little bit of cash here and there.

ok ... well I texted him because he has his number on the ad ... well first I said
"Hi ... I'm interested in your Hearse" he replies back with "ok, what's your offer?" I said back "$5k considering that's what is worth on a GOOD day" well ... he then responds with "well ... for your wife's sake I will do $8k"
He didn't know it was me until I told him it was, and I was like "what the heck do I have anything to do with it?? You make sound like a bad thing (for your wife's sake???) Freaking really"
Then he said he wants to change hobbies and he will regret selling Lurch *the '67* when he does. And he would think about trading us for Frankienzombie *which is my Hearse* PLUS $2k on top of that ... now my Zombie is worth more than Lurch .... so I would be loosing and giving this dummy $2k on that???? HELL NAW ....
well then I pursued to tell him about the price of Lurch and what it's ACTUALLY worth ... well he got pissed and said "He is worth $9k to ME and I won't take a dime less than $8k"
THEN ... he gets all pissed off because I can actually take legal action in the pix he's using ... oh yea ... because he's not using his own, I talked to a lady lawyer today and she did say that I can sue him if I wanted for copy right infringement .... the pix were sent through email and were NEVER public except for the one at the show we had a few years back. So that is considered copy right infringement according to her.
Well after all that he said that I need help ... and not to contact him after that.
What did I do?? I texted him RIGHT back saying the same thing ... "I"m not the one who is trying to flip a Hearse and trying to get money and not worrying about the Hearse, but your own self"
and he replied back "I will CRUSH this Hearse before I ever sell it to y'all"
and I got so pissed at that.!!!!!!!!!! I just called him a dumb @$$ and left it at that

This is the second Coach i've actually noticed someone trying to flip.. I generally don't notice alot of Coaches before some Jackass buys them with intention to flip them.. Anyhow, briefly off the topic of coaches, I've seen many cars bought with the intention of flipping them. From my personal experience.. Just wait it out for a bit until they lose the novelty and they usually end up folding and selling it for the said original price. Usually..
But as for the Hearse it's self, I think it'd look badass bagged. Flamed.. Not so much, But still, I don't see whats wrong with selling it to a younger person provided they don't ecto it or make it a "Gothic Coach" version two.. The Landau 57 Miller.. remember?
Suppose at the end of the day, Just wait for him to lower the price, they all do with time. And hope some rich person who doesnt see the value of a dollar doesn't come along!

This was interesting to read through.
What a lovely coach this is.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but stating that he "doesn't HAVE to sell it" and that he's looking for a new hobby, really makes him seem like an absolute tool.
Perhaps he should start golfing and hanging out at country clubs.

Does anyone know what happened to this? Was it ever saved?

Current owner did send me up to date photos of Lurch "Which I failed to save...sorry" ...The coach is in much worse shape cosmetic wise than he would have you all to believe "From the previous owners pics anyway". While we may be "Elite car Nazis"...at least we stand up and have a passion for these vehicles where people such as the current owner of good ol Lurch simply sees him as a money making tool. I don't usually sling names about, but this guy is truly a douche.
