I dont believe commercial chassis ever had the dual quads or the 3x2s OE. I'd love to have either one for my 365. As far as the cam setup, you gotta check with the rat rod or hot rod guys. There's a place in one of the rat rod mags I subscribe to that has the high lift Isky cams in stock for the Cad 365-390.

Billy said it was also called a Veranda meaning flat top I can't find anything anywhere about a Veranda, was that a street nick name? And a curve ball now, on the name plate (on seat) it says Interior by Fleetwood.
Production Total: 12308 Is this a low run for my exact model or standard? Seems like a low run to me.

    Yep - 40-44 NBL Cruiser

Fleetwood was the design company that created all those GM interiors up into the early 90's, not the model of the car.

Series 62 was the base line of all Cadillacs not in the commercial class. Don't worry, "62" does not mean el cheapo. Many series 62 sedans and coupes came heavily optioned. The number of the series only denotes the wheelbase(not sure how they came up with the numbers - 62,75,85).

Also as far as lifters and pistons they are the exact same part numbers as a small block Chevy, just drop the C on the end, they work just fine in the 390 Caddy motor. Crankshaft, rods and cam are strickly Caddy items, it took me almost ten years to find the cam and crank for my 390. High performance distributor and carbs can be small block Chevy also, they bolt on perfectly as well. I am utilizing a Carter AFB four bbl carb with a track kit and she runs good with great response, about 20 mpg on the highway. A after market flexfan and custom shroud helps keep her cooler than the old stock stuff. Done away with the old generator and voltage regulator and went with a G.M. integeral altinator, about 80 amps, chromed of course...lol She is no hotrod by any means but she runs 75 to 85 mph all day with no problems at all.
Copy and pasted this to tha note pad thanks.
