that may help because on some cars 4 door coupes were only available in a particular model class.

(interestingly there also used to be a 4 door sedan, which HAD a seperation bar and shorter front doors. In the modern age a coupe is a 2 door and a sedan a 4, but that wasn't always the case)
Hmm this is going to be a good discussion. Watch this video chase pay close attention at 4min 45 sec. (shows my exact car, rear visor and all) will you still say for a fact it's a coupe? Then I'll comment again.

1 of 4 parts below, I suggest watching all 4 parts, very educational to the Cadillac fan. Part one here is the issues at hand though.

Um yea riding down the road one of my boys was looking around the car and stated, "were fuckin dead if this bith rolls over" hopefully there is enough old school steel in the 4 corners to protect us, but even then the roof is so fuckin low. But I love it.

P.S whats the weight of my car? Any educated guesses?

I wouldn't lower it any more than it is because the Atlanta area roads are not friendly to cars that low.

No I'm in Ga. I think the car at one time was in Utah, I've been trying to get that plate off with no luck, time to break out the zip saw and cut the screws. I'm Kevin... Dispain disPAIN'Sbac

started a topic The 59 random stuff.

    The 59 random stuff.

Disclaimer before you give your opinions don't not keep in mind value of the car going down due to mods, I do not care, I just wanna have my own creation. I never plan to sell this car..ever.

I was thinking about 86ing the side chrome and shaving the door handles, going for the minimalist and or "street" look (living in Cali. comes to mind) like this.

Or keep all the chrome and door handles which actually make the rims "pop" more. The 59 had some very unique side chrome/trim the shape and contour, I'd hate to get rid of it but would. Reading an article on zz tops 48 Cadillac "Cadzilla" (correct year?) in car craft magazine when I was 18 they were looking at it and trying to decide whether to chop the top on the already mint condition 48. After a long moment of silence Billy Gibbons spoke up and said... your torch or mine?

Also what are some bolt on products I can add to the 390 just to give it a little more umph.

Laker pipes, how do they work/purpose? Whats the price and can I do it myself.....with the help of Dave. lol

ok pros......And without me saying anything.... what is the exact model/style of my 59. There is a reason I ask. I'll explain later.

Working...
