Aw, how precious that this thread has turned mushy.....and I am very sorry to hear about your trek to the homeland. I once drove 24 hours straight from Cincinnati to Salt Lake City for a car...but the guy selling seemed to forget the agreed upon price and I wound up paying about $3500 less. Needless to say the trailer did not come home empty.

Well, idiot or not, lesson is learned, and I'm thinking I might skip this on in NJ because she has no original interior left, no original floor, her side mouldings are missing, her grill isn't original.. and even for 1K, that seems like a lot of work I'd have left to do.

So I think, really, I'm going to save up for a nice one that will need restoration (because I'd be a fool to think I'd find a perfect hearse), but not one that's completely.. not original anymore.

But thanks for advice, and when I do find one, you can be sure I'll post pictures.
